ABSOLUT ICEBAR offers an experience unlike any other.
Chilled to a constant -5°C/ 23°F, it evokes all your senses.
Leading international artists and designers are invited, twice a year, to create experimental interiors and sculptures thereby recreating the entire setting.
The creative art work in every ABSOLUT ICEBAR is built by nothing but crystal clear ice from Torne River in northern Sweden.
Everything in the bars is built by pure ice – from the walls, the stools to the artwork. Even the ‘glasses’ in which the vodka drinks are served are made of ice, indeed “in the rocks”. The ice from Torne River, which is known for its unique purity, is harvested at the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi in March every year.
The first ever ABSOLUT ICEBAR opened at ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden in 1994. Since then the ABSOLUT ICEBAR family has grown and can today be found in four cities: Stockholm, London, Tokyo, and Copenhagen in addition to Jukkasjärvi.

Absolut Los Angeles Vodka is the second multi-flavored vodka in the brands "city" line and is an excellent follow-up to last year's Absolut New Orleans. traffic on the Taconic State Parkway sparking a horrific accident that killed eight people, had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system at the time of the crash, a toxicology report revealed Tuesday.
According to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore, Diane Schuler not only had a blood alcohol level of .19 but an autopsy also discovered elevated levels of THC - the main substance found in marijuana - in her system.
Schuler's blood alcohol level is the equivalent of 10 drinks of 80 proof alcohol. The legal limit in New York State is .08. Investigators said she also had six ounces of undigested alcohol in her stomach and found a broken 1.75-liter bottle of Absolut Vodka underneath her minivan seat.
According to blood tests, Schuler's THC levels indicated that she had smoke marijuana about 15 minutes to an hour before the fatal crash.
"She would have had difficulty with perception, with her judgment, with her memory," said Betsy Spratt, chief toxicologist for Westchester County's medical examiner. "Around that level of alcohol, you start to get what we call tunnel vision."

The Nuance Group Sweden has been selected as the launch partner for The Absolut Company’s new release in travel-retail. Absolut No Label is a limited edition of the 40% abv Absolut vodka and will be available exclusively at Nuance’s Swedish duty-free stores until the end of June.The Absolut No Label bottles are numbered and contain no label or logo. They feature only a removable campaign sticker with the website address, where consumers can find more information and give feedback. The product was launched on May 22 and in Scandinavian travel-retail the exclusivity deal will be extended until the end of August.

ABSOLUT GRCIC gets its inspiration from the iconic shape of the ABSOLUT VODKA bottle. Without referring to or competing with the bottle, Konstantin wanted to capture the distinctive expression of the bottle. Absolut raises glass for New Orleans

Absolut Vodka is creating a special-edition flavored vodka to honor New Orleans, and the proceeds will go to Gulf Coast charities, the company announced Wednesday.
Absolut made the announcement and previewed the mango-with-black-pepper flavor at the annual New Orleans culinary festival, Tales of the Cocktail.
Absolut New Orleans, which goes on sale Aug. 1, commemorates the second anniversary on Aug. 29 of Hurricane Katrina hitting New Orleans. The company plans to make 35,000 cases, with 100% of the sales — an estimated $2 million — to go to the charities.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - The distillers of Sweden's Absolut vodka have withdrawn an advertisement run in Mexico that angered many U.S. citizens by idealizing an early 19th century map showing chunks of the United States as Mexican.
The billboard ad has the slogan "In an Absolut World" slapped over a pre-1848 map showing California, Arizona and other U.S. states as Mexican territory. Those states were carved out of what had been Mexican lands until that year.
Although it was not shown in the United States, U.S. media outlets picked up on the ad, and after a barrage of complaints, Absolut's maker said on Sunday the ad campaign would cease
